On 1 August 2026, the centre of Bad Ragaz will transform into a vibrant meeting place from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 a.m. The ninth edition of Dorfart by Bad Ragartz invites visitors not only to view art, but to actively experience it. The event takes place in the village centre of Bad Ragaz and admission is free.
Under the motto “Experience and co-create art,” Bad Ragaz once again becomes an open studio for everyone interested. A range of artist-led workshops offers insights into creative processes while also giving visitors the opportunity to get involved and create their own art.
As the event coincides with the Swiss National Day, selected programme highlights add a traditional touch: the Jodelklub Alprösli will perform in the morning, and a “Höhenfeuer” (mountain bonfire) will be lit in the evening. In addition, the Gemeinde Bad Ragaz invites guests to a village brunch ahead of the Dorfart. (Information on registration will be published at a later date at www.badragaz.ch.)
