“Go out and see”

An exhibition that transforms a social space into a Gesamtkunstwerk or “total work of art” marks the start of a pioneering era. The sculpture park, spanning several kilometres, symbolizes a stand against fast-paced living, superficiality, indifference and despondency. In parks and meadows, and in streets, squares and hotel complexes, the art delivers more than just symbolic meaning to its admirers. “Go out and see” is a motto embraced by society. For months, culture becomes a topic of discussion and the focus of an entire town.
