“Distance Sharpens Perceptions”
Yet another summer of culture under open skies and full of highlights. 80 artists build bridges, this year under the theme “Distance Sharpens Perceptions”. Once again, art is a glimmer of light and a sign of hope pointing to a future full of creativity, togetherness and joy – despite, or even more so because of, the extraordinary situation in which the world finds itself during the coronavirus pandemic. With a budget of CHF 2.5 million, the Swiss Triennial of Sculpture has taken on new dimensions. The demand for guided art tours, art trips and accompanying events is increasing on a scale that was once unimaginable. Culture is being celebrated as the highest art of coexistence. Off to new shores…
