The “present”
The “present” – without today, tomorrow there would be no yesterday: Under this motto, Bad Ragartz 2024 launched its 9th Triennial. With 88 artists from 19 nations, connections between past, present, and future were forged—felt not only through the selection of 450 artworks but also with the introduction of the first Art Lab. This platform provided 14 emerging artists with space to showcase their young works as ambassadors of contemporary art.
This bridge between generations is also reflected within the Bad Ragartz Family: since the ninth edition, three generations of the Hohmeister Family have been working passionately to secure the Triennial’s future. The record-breaking number of visitors this summer further underscores one thing: art remains was, ist and will be indispensable in the future.
